UFC 243: Whittaker vs Adesanya Odds and Pick

In what could be the UFC event in the organizations history, UFC 243 goes Saturday out of Marvel Stadium in??Melbourne, Australia. The middleweight title will be on the line as RobertThe Reaper Whittaker produces his next title defense, even while undefeated IsraelThe previous Stylebender Adesanya appears to swap his interim name for the actual strap. The challenger, Adesanya, is a little -120 favored with the winner, Whittaker.
The people has been all over Adesanya since the opening, to him being the slight favorite at -120 moving this line from +118. Meanwhile, the fairly inactive winner Whittaker is becoming slighted, in my estimation, and now is an underdog. This may be since The Reaper has fought just twice since July 2017, while the previous Stylebender has been since his introduction in February of this past year in the six days.
This is the tightest line Adesanya has had from the UFC since his struggle with Brad Tavares at July 2018, despite being in the eye and carrying a record — a fight Adesanya won by unanimous decision. On the opposite side, if Whittaker shuts as an underdog, itll be nothing new to get the winner as hes been a dog of his nine middleweight bouts, all which he won in five.
Adesanya has a tremendous ability to set traps for his rivals when they encounter those traps and throw straight drives that are powerful. The Nigeria native kicks to keep his opponents off-balance and does a wonderful job of switching stances and varying his attack from punches to knees. His first takedown defense had been put to the test against Kelvin Gastelum his very last time he did pretty well, just getting removed once and keeping a nice shield which kept him.
The champion has a higher output of strikes compared to the challenger, however, he will absorb more damage also in doing so. That having been said, resiliency has been revealed by Whittaker, having suffered a knee injury from the Yoel Romero fight and breaking??his hands but he continued to battle and won the two bouts. Bobby Knuckles constantly pressures his rivals and mixes his strikes, sneaking head kicks behind quick right punches.
Watching both of their last fights I noticed some huge issues for Adesanya which Whittaker could make the most of. Hurt him and he neglected to check any leg strikes and a couple got through when Adesanya fought Gastelum. Well,??when he had been in exchanges, he did not bring his left hand to guard that side of his face, but he had been lucky that Gastelum threw loopy punches. I think Whittaker place Adesanya in a way and will see these items.
Prediction: Robert Whittaker (-110) via decision
